War in Ukraine: refugee ballerinas take refuge in a Polish opera

Opera houses and theaters across Europe have offered to help fleeing or stranded ballet dancers affected by the war in Ukraine.

In Warsaw, the Polish National Ballet sheltered about 30 Ukrainian dancers in its opera house and gave them the opportunity to join the class of the company. The BBC attended one of their rehearsals.
