Sidney Poitier’s daughter on his legacy at the Oscars

Nearly six decades after Sidney Poitier became the first black man to win an Oscar for acting, four actors of color have been nominated for this year’s Oscars.

Sunday’s ceremony in Los Angeles will pay tribute to Poitier, who passed away in January.
