Ethiopian Civil War: Women who paid the price

During the 16-month civil war in Ethiopia, a truce was declared, allowing the delivery of aid to hundreds of thousands of people suffering from hunger. The conflict in northern Tigray has witnessed shocking atrocities committed by all sides, including what human rights call “rape as a weapon of war.” The BBC’s Kalkidan Ibeltal spoke to some of the affected women in the nearby Amhara region.
